Life is YOUR science centre – so why not make the most of it?

Become an annual member and visit as much as you like!

Whether you want to spend whole days with us or pop in for half an hour while you’re passing, there’s always something new to explore.

Your pass is valid for a year, but please be aware that we do occasionally close for short periods to allow for refurbishments and team training.

Please note: Play Zone will be closed from Monday 2 November to the end of January 2027. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There are two ways to buy an annual membership

Upgrade your day ticket on your visit

If you haven’t visited Life before and would like to try it out before becoming a member, we’d recommend buying a day ticket first. If you have a great time and decide to join, you can upgrade to a membership at the end of your visit and we’ll deduct the cost of your admission ticket from your membership fee.

Buy a membership voucher online and redeem it when you arrive

If you’re already a Life regular and know you’d like to become a member, you can prepay for your membership online and we’ll process your voucher when you arrive at reception. Your membership will start from the day of your first visit, so there’s no downside to buying in advance. It’s also a great option if you’re buying a membership as a gift.
