Skating - Info for Groups
Some helpful advice to ensure your skating group visit runs smoothly.
Do:Stick as closely as possible to your estimated arrival time. If you arrive late you may get less time on the ice rink or in a workshop.
Bring your own skates if you prefer (although we can't offer a price reduction if you do so). Skate hire is included in the price of skating.
Wear warm, waterproof clothing (including hats and gloves). You might like to bring a change of clothes too in case you fall over and get wet, and spare socks never go amiss!
Skate in an anti-clockwise direction to keep things moving (and safe) on the ice.
Listen to the ice marshals who are there to ensure that your visit is enjoyable and safe. Feel free to ask them questions and please listen if they ask you to do something. They're there to keep you safe.
Don't:Throw snow or ice balls.
Join hands with friends - making long chains of skaters can be dangerous.
Take food or drink on to the ice.
