The programme has now ended.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to mentor young people at our science clubs.
Thanks to funding from STEM Learning, we can offer hands-on science experiences to young people who might otherwise not get the opportunity. You can be part of the team that makes a difference!

Upcoming opportunities
Our science clubs offer repeat engagement with young people to increase their confidence and passion for STEM-related activities.
Ideally, you will be available for all the training sessions and can work with the same group throughout. This helps build relationships and confidence on both sides. We would still love to hear from you if this isn’t possible. Experience or knowledge of these communities is an asset, but we welcome applications from anyone with an interest in supporting young people with sensory needs.
Sensory science club for hearing impaired or d/Deaf young people

Weekly Science Club for local primary schools

If you’re excited to make a difference, please email us at education@life.org.uk for more information or to sign up.
Can’t make these sessions? No problem! We have more opportunities coming up in the next school year, starting September 2024. Let us know if you’d like to register your interest for next year’s clubs.
If you’re a STEM Ambassador, you can find all these opportunities on the STEM Ambassador portal.
