Enjoy a hands-on 3D printing workshop where you’ll design, create and print a personalised keyring.
Life’s in-house experts will support you to use simple software tools such as Tinkercad, walk you through designing your keyring and help you understand and use the 3D printer software.
The workshops take place in the Making Studios in the science centre. No experience is required, and workshops are included with your science centre ticket on a first come, first served basis. Please register your interest at the Making Studios on arrival.
The workshop lasts for two hours in total, with 1.5 hours in the morning, 10:30am-12:00pm, followed by a short afternoon session from 3:00pm-3:30pm, to complete your keyring, get your 3D printing guide and ask any questions you may have. During the interval, you can take a break and spend time exploring the centre while your creation prints, then take your keyring home.
Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, capacity is limited.
